ORDINANCE NO. 237
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
CHANGING FROM THE "U" TO THE "PD" ZONE THE
PR0PERTY 0F NEWPORT COLONIAL CORPORATION.
The City Council of.the City of Tustin, California,
ordain as follows: ,--~
Section 1: The City Council finds and determines ~
bhat a proper application (No. ZC 63-126) was filed on behalf of
NEWPOinT COLONIAL COt~POiiATION for change of zone from the "U" Zone
to the "PD" Zone of the property described as:
Property in the State of California, County ofI
Orange, described as:
The North 8 acres of Lot "H" of the "Stafford and
Tustin Tract", as per map recorded in Book 2, Pages 618 and 619,
C C and
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles ~ounty, alifornia;
The East 10 acres of the following:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot "I" of
the "STafford and Tustin Tract" as shown on a map thereof recorded
in Book 2, pages 618 and 619, Miscellaneous Records of Los-
Angeles County, California, running thence South 67.25 rods to
the land formerly owned by Ed Abbott; thence East 48 rods; thence
North 67.25 rods and thence West to the point of beginning.
Section 2.:.. The Planning Commission duly called,
noticed, and held a'public hearing on said application, and re-
commended said Zone Change to the City Council. i'.
Section 5;...The City Council duly called, noticed
and held a public hearing on said application on September 3,
1963.
Section ~: The City ~ouncil finds and determines
that said rezoning is in the best interests of the subject
property adjacent property and adjoining uses and is in

barmoney with the general plan of the City of ~ustin.
Section 5:. The City Council hereby changes the
aforesaid property to the "PD" zone, and the zoning map of the
City is hereby accordingly amended.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a Special Meeting of the
City Council of the City of Tustin, held the 23rd day of September, 1963. . . on~or

California, does hereby certify that the whole
number of the members of the City Council of
the City of Tustin is five; that the above
and foregoing Ordinance was duly and regularly
introduced and read at the regular meeting
of the City Council held on the 16th day of September,
1963, and was given its second reading and duly
passed and adopted at a Special Meeting held
on the 23rd day of September, 1963, by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN Donev, Sheridan, HUmeston, Mack
& Klingelhofer.
NOES: COUNCILMEN NQne
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN None
