HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 223 (1963) ORDINANCE N0. 223 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, CHANGING PROPERTY TO THE C-1 ZONE ON THE APPLICATION OF SCOTT. The City Council of the City of Tustin does ordain as follows: Section l: A proper Application (No. Z.C. 63-~119) was filed by EDNA SCOTT for rezoning to the q-1 Zone the property described as: That certain parcel of real property situated in the County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: Commencing at a point ~n the North line of the Koll Allotment in said Rancho, at a point ~Q.~ecNai~ EAm~of ~hboulder stone that marks the Northwest corner of land conveyed by Silas Richey to G. G. Godfrey on October 20, 1881, running thence South 12.50 chains; thence East 2 chains, thence North 12.50 chains, thence West 2 chains to the place of beginning; containing 2! 2 acres more or less. Section 2: The Planning Commission duly called, noticed and held a public hearLng on said Application,' on April 22, 1963, and recommended rezoning to the C-1 ~one. Section 5: The City Council finds and determines that rezoning to the, C-1 Zone is in the best interests of the subject property, the surrounding property and the City of Tustin, and its general plan. Section 4: The said property is hereby rezoned to the C-1 Zone, and the Zoning Map of the City of Tustin is hereby amended accordingly; and the building ~t~ine established at eighty feet (80') from the centerline of McFadden Avenue.
