AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED
"WILLIAMS STREET ANNEXATION TO THE CITY
0F TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA"
~-~ BE IT 0RDAINED BY .THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUST IN:
WHEREAS, on the 15th day of January, 1963,
the Gouncil of the City of Tustin did pass and adopt
Resolution No. 636 giving notice of the proposal to
annex certain uninhabited territory to the City of
Tustin, said territory being therein designated as
"WILLIAMS STREET ANRFXATIQN", said Resolution describ-
ing the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annex-
ed; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 636 did contain
a notice of the day, hour and place when and where the
Council of the City would hear protests made by any per-
son owning real property within the territory proposed
to be annexed, the time of said hearing being not less
thank forty nor more than sixty days from the date of
passage of said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, on the 4th day of March, 1963, at
the hour of 7:30 o'clock, P.M. in the Council Chambers
in the City Hall of the City of-Tustin, County of Orange,
State of California, said time and place being the day,
hour and place fixed in said Resolution No. 636 for
hearing protests to the said annexation, the ~said City
Council did hear and pass upon all protests made to the
proposed annexation and did determine that protests had
~' not been made by the owners of one-half of the value of
- the privately owned territory proposed to be annexed as
shown by. the last equalized ~assessment roll, nor by
public owners of one-half of the value of the publicly
owned territory proposed to be annexed as determined by
said legislative bgdy; and

WHEF~EAS, said territory is contiguous to the
City of Tustin, and is uninhabited territory in the
County of Orange;
NOW, THEREFORE, the said Council of the City
of Tustin does hereby approve the annexation of the
territory hereinafter described ~o the City of Tustin,
and does hereby further ordain that the said territory
be and is hereby annexed to the City of Tustin.
That said territory, the annexation of which
to the City of Tustin is hereby approved~: is all that
territory sitbate in the County of Orange, State of
California, more particularly described as follows:

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
FOR WILLIAMS STREET AN~XATION
TO THE CIIT OF TUSTIN
Beginning at an angle point in the existing
City boundary of the City of Tustin as per South Tus-
tin A~enue Annexation annexed in accordance with 0rdin-
ance No. 136, dated July 5, 1960, said angle point be-
ing 20 feet South of the surveyed centerline of Mc-
Fadden Street and 746.90 feet' West of the surveyed
centerLine of Tustin Avenue, said angle point also be~.
ing on the existing City boundary of 'the City of Santa
Ana as per Ordinance No. NS406;
Thei~ce, departing from said City of Tustin
boundary and ~folloWing al6ng said City of Santa Aria
boundary N. 89°40' 20'' W., also being along the South
line of McFadden Street (40 feet wide), a distance of
976.36 feet to the Southerly prolongation 6~ the ~East-
erly line of Williams Street (66 feet wide);
Thence, departing from said City of Santa
Ana boundary, N. 0°31'31'' E. along said Southerly pro-
longation and said Easterly line of Williams Street, a
distance of 2017".35 feet to the North line of the
parcel of land conveyed to Charles F. Greenwood, Rob-
ert D. Windolph et al, by deed recorded in Book 6282,
Page 489 of Official records of Orange County, ~C~lifornia;
Thence, S. 89°~5'37" E. along said North
line, a distance of 1027.83 feet, more or less, to the
existing City boundary of the City of Tustin as per
John Jacobs Annexation annexed in accordance with
Ordinance No. 181, dated August 6, 1962:
Thence, S. 0°41,01,, W. along said City boun-
dary, a distance of 363~44 feet to an angle point in
said City boundary, said angle point also being an
angle point in the Gity boundary of Tustin as per
said South Tustin Avenue Annexation;
Thence, following along said City boundary,
the following courses and distances:
S. 0°41' 01" W.., 750.42 feet to an angle point;
N. 89°43'50" W.,50.32 feet to an angle point;
S. 0°41'01"W. 429 00 feet to an angle point;
S. 89°43'50'' E., 5~32 feet to an angle point;
S. 0°41'01'' W., 469.00 feet to the point of
beginning.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Tustin, California,
held on the 11th day of March, 1963.
