HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 205 (1963) ORDINANCE NO 205 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT ZONES. The City Council of the City of Tustin does Ordain as fo~ows: Whereas, t~ City Counc]i hereby finds, on the basis of engineering and traffic studies, that the speed limits on certain streets ~ithin the City should be changed; NOW THEEFOE, the City Council of the City of Tustin does ordain as follows: 1. That First Street, between Yorba Street and Westerly City Limit be a 25 mile per hour speed limit zone. 2. That Yorba Street, between First Street and Fourth ~treet, be a 25 mile per hour speed limit zone. 3. That Yorba Street, between FOurth.IUStreet and Seventeenth Street, be a 45 mile per hour speed limit zone. 4. That Prospect Avenue, between First Street and the Northerly City limits, be a 25 mile per hour speed limit zone (Southbound only). 5. That Main Street, between Pacific Street and the Westerly City Limits be a 35 mile per hour speed limit zone. That the City Traffic Engineer be, and he hereby is authorized to olace appropriate speed-zone signs in accordance with the foregoing speed limit zones.
