HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 179A (1962) ORDINANCE NO. 179A AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, MODIFYING AND AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, BY REZONING THE PRO~ PERTY DESIGNATED AS THE PANNELL ANNEXATION TO THE P_M ZONE The City Council of the City of Tustin does ordain as follows: S_~: The City Council of the City of Tustin California, find~ and determines that s proper application for rezoning was filed on behalf of ALICE PANNELL, CLARENCE O. PANNELL, HARRY E. PANNELL AND GLADYS PANNELL, the owners of the proper facing Newport Avenue, 700 feet south of SYcamore and 200 feet north of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad property, being more particu- larly described as~: That portion of Lot 64 in Block ll of IRVINE SUBDIVISION partly in the City of Tustin, all in the County of Orange, State of California, as per Map recorded in Book l, Page 88, of Miscellaneous Record Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Orange, State of California. S__~: The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin duly called a hearing on said application for June ll, 1962, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers o~ the City Hall, Tustin, California, all in accordance with Ordinance No. 157 of the City of Tustin, as amended. Said hearing was duly held. S_~: The Planning Commission recommended to the City Council that the said property be rezoned to the P-M Zone. SectiQn 4: The City Council of the City of Tustin duly ~called and noticed a public hearing on the proposed zone change for July 2, 1962, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Tustin, California, all in accordance with Ordjrance No. 157 of the Ci~ of Tustin, as amended. Said hearing was duly held. Section 5: The City Council of the City of Tustin finds, determines that said property should be rezoned to the P_M Zone. ~898. Section 6: The Zoning Map of the City of Tustin hereb~ is modified and amended by the change t~ the P_M Zone of the pro- perty facing Newport Avenue, 700 feet south of Sycamore and 200 feet North of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad property, more particularly described as: That portion of Lot 64 inBlock 11 oflRVINE SUBDIVISION, partly in the City of Tustin, all in the County of Orange, State of California, as per Map recorded in Book l, Page 88, of Miscellaneous Record Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Orange, State of California. Section 2: It is further found and determined that it is urgent that this property be rezoned to the P_M Zone, in order that the City of Tustin may receive needed additional revenues within the earliest possible ~ime, and therefore it is declared that it is an emergency that this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is, declared adopted and effective immediately.
