The City Council of the City of Tustin does ordain as
follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tustin duly
adopted Resolution No. 476, declaring its intention to initiate
proceedings on its own motion for the amendment of the building line
setback requirements for property fronting on "B" Street, South of
Sixth Street, in the City of Tustin, which Resolution was adopted
after the filing of an application for change of setback line by
the owner of one parcel of property fronting on "B" Street, South of
Sixth Street and
WHEREAS, itisin the public interest to have the
building line setback requirements uniform on both sides of "B"
.Street, South of Sixth -Street; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Tustin'
has duly,, given notice of'a time and place for a public hearing
before said; Planning Commission, concerning the amendment of the
building line setback requirements for property fronting on "B"
Street, South of Sixth Street, and concerning the amendment of
Ordinance No. 71 of the City of Tustin, as amended, all in accord-
ance with the provisions and requirements of Ordinance No. 71 of
the City of Tustin, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Tustin,
after holding a public hearing to consider objections to the amend-
ment of the building line setback requirements referred to herein,
duly adopted and forwarded, to the City Council of the City of
Tustin, Resolution No. 5,22, recommending the amendment of the
building line setback requirements referred to hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tustin, after
due notice., held a public hearing on August 3, 1959, to consider
the amendment of the building line setback requirements for said
property described hereinafter; and
"WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tustin finds
does ordain as follows:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 71, as amended, and the
building line setback requirements on the hereinafter described
property be amended as follows
The building line setback requirements on each side
of South "B" Street, from the South line of Sixth Street, Southerly
to the Santa Ana Freeway, to be five feet Easterly and Westerly
from the existing E9sterly and Westerly lines of "'B" Street, the
sai.d "B" Street being 66 feet in -width..

that the whole number of members of the City Council of the City of
Tustin is five; that the above and foregoing Ordinance was duly
and regularly introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Tustin held on the 3rd day of August, 1959, and was
duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council
held on the 17th day of August, 1959, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Bacon, Tadlock, Humeston & Byrd
NOES: Councilmen None
ABSENT: Councilmen Kidd
