DECLARING THAT THE PROCEEDITIGS FOR ANNEXATION

+VHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tustin, dial,
on the 10th day of. November, 1957, declare its intention to
annex certain uninhabited territory by Resolution No. 423,
which said resol,,}.tion was regularly pu`:alished as required by
laU,,T, and which said resolution gave due notice of public
hearing to be held on October 28, 1957; and
u� EREAS, at said hearing there were protests filed by
the owners of more than one-half of the value of said terri.tory
as s'c1own by the last equalized assessment roll.
NOuV. THERE'',OFI.E, the City Council of the City of Tustin
dpes prdaom as follows:
Section 1. That after due hearing it finds that there
were protests filed by the owners of more than one-half of the
value of the territory described as "Samuel Tustin Annexation �.
to the City of' Tustin" as s lawn by the last equalized assessment
roll.
Section 2. That the instant proceedings for annexation
of the territory described as "Samuel Tustin Annexation to the
City of Tustin" be, and they are, hereby terminated and the
annexation of said territory is by this Ordinance expressly dis -
approved.
Section 3. The Mayor shall sign 'this Ordinance and the
City Clerk shall attest thereto and certify to the passage of
this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once
in the Tustin News, a weekly newspaper of general circulation,
printed, published and circulated in the City of Tustin, and
said Ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its final
adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Tustin at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
25th day of November, 1957.

City Council of the City of Tustin, California, does hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Counell
of the City of Tustin is five; that the a')ove and foregoing
Ordinance was duly and regularly introduced at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Tustin held on
the 12th day of Novernl5er, 1957, and was duly passed and
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held on
the 25th day of November, 1957, by the following vote:

NOES: Councilmen: —None
