AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN FIXING THE AMOUNT
OF REVENUE REQUIRED FROM PROPERTY TAXES TO CARRY ON
THE VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY AND FIXING THE RATE
OF TAX ON THE TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY TO CARRY
ON THE WORK OF THE CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1957-1958.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:,—,
Section 1. That the City has, pursuant to law, heretofore ^i
elected to have its duties of assessment and tax collection
performed by the County of Orange through the Assessor, Tax
Collector,, Auditor, and other officials of the County of Orange.
Section 2. That it is determined that the amount of $23,241.68
is the amount of money necessary to be raised by taxation upon the
taxable property within the City as revenue to carry on the various
departments of the City for the year 1957-58•
Section 3. That the rate of tax necessary to raise the afore-
said sum of money to carry on the various work of`the City, is the
sum of one dollar ($1.00) upon each one hundred dollars ($100.00)
of the assessed valuation of all real and personal property within
the corporate limits of the City of Tustin for the purpose of

carrying on the various work of,the City for the fiscal year 1957-58.
Section L.E.. That the City Clerk of the City of Tustin shall
certify to the County Auditor of the County of Orange, State of
Calif.ornia a statement of the rate of taxes fixed herein to be
extended to him on the 1957-58 County Assessment Roll for the
collection thereof in the same manner as County Taxes.
Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption'of
this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once
within fifteen days after its adoption in The Tustin News, a
weekly newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in the City of Tustin, and said Ordinance shall take
effect and be in full force immediately from and after its final
adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Tustin
at a regular adjourned meeting of the City Council held on the 19th
day of August, 1957.

Tustin, California, does hereby certify that the whole number of.
members of the City Council of the City of Tustin is five; that
the above and foregoing Ordinance was duly and regularly introduced
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Tustin
held on the 12th day of August, 1957, and was duly passed and
adopted at an adjourned meeting of the City Council held on the
19th day of August, 1957, by the following vote:
AYES Councilmen Kidd, Tadlock, Humeston, & Bacon
NOES: ° Councilmen None
ABSENT: Councilmen Byrd
