AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING AND APPROVING
PRESCOTT'S ANNEXATION TO THE CITY
OF TUSTIN.
�- The City Council of the City of Tustin do ordain
as follows:
WHEREAS, pursuant to theprovisions of Title 4,
Division 2, Part 3, Chapter 11 Articles l and_5 of the Govern-
ment Code of the State of California, the following things
have been done: John A. Prescott submitted a petition for the
annexation of certain territory hereinafter described; by
Resolution. No. 362 regularly passed on the lith day of Octo-
ber, 1954, the territory described in the petition for annexa-
tion was designed as "Prescottts Annexation" and the date of
November 22, 1954, at 7:00 o'clock P. M. was set for the hear-
ing of protests to be made by any person owning real property
within the property subject of the annexation; that the Boun-
"' dry Commission of Orange County, California, at a meeting held
October 11, 1954, approved the boundries of the proposed annexa-
tion; that the City Council of the City of Santa Ana by action
taken on November 3, 1954, approved the proposed annexation
as required under the provisions of Government Code Section
35304.5; that the City Council of the City of Orange by action
taken on November 9, 1954, approved the proposed annexation
as required under the provisions of Government Code Section
35304.5; that there are less than twelve registered voters
living within said property the subject of the proposed annexa-
tion; that at the hearing held November 22, 1954, pursuant to
the provisionsof Resolution No. 362 there were no protests --
made by any person owning real property within the territory,
proposed to be annexed.
N'OW2 THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Tustin, California, do ordain as follows:
Section 1. That the annexation of that certain
uninhabited territory contiguous to the City of Tustin desig-
nated as "Prescott+s Annexation" be and the same hereby is
approved.
Said territory is described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the center
lines of "Efl Street and Third Street as shown
on a Map of Tract No. 555 recorded in Book 26,
on page 15, Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Grange County, California, said point of begin-
ning being an angle point in the boundry line
of the City of Tustin.
Thence Northerly, along center line of "E"
Street, also known as Prospect Avenue, 599.0
feet to the.Westerly prolongation of the North
line of said Tract No. 555 with the center line
of said "E" Street, said point also being an
angle point in the boundry.line.of the City
of Tustin.
Thence Easterly along city boundry line, and
along the Easterly prolongation thereof, 335.00
feet to the Northeast cornet of said Tract No.
555.
Thence Southerly along the Easterly line of
said Tract No. 555, and the Southerly prolonga-
tion thereof 599.0 feet to the center line of
Third Street, also being an angle point in the
city boundry line.
Thence Westerly along center line of Third
Street and long city boundry line 335.0 feet
to the point of beginning.
Section 2. The Mayor shall sign this Ordinance
and the City Clerk shall attest thereto and certify to the
passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be
published once in the Tustin News, a weekly newspaper of
general circulation, printed, published.and circulated in
the City of Tustin, and said Ordinance shall take effect
thirty days (30) after its final passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the
City of Tustin at a regular meeting held on the 13th day of
December, 1951}..

L HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordiance was
regularly introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Tustin held on the 22nd day of November, 1954,
and was duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Tustin held on the 13th day of

December, 1954, by the following vote.-
