ORDINANCE NO. 89 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 71 (Sec. 5 B) The City Council of the City of Tustin does ordain WHEREAS, certain property owners have applied to change certain zone boundries and classifications of property within the City of Tustin; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has duly consid- ered said application and made its recommendations to the City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council held a Public Hearing on said application on October 13, 1953, and has considered same: Section 1. The following described area is hereby reclassified from R-1 Single Family Dwelling Zone to C-1 Local Commercial Zone,. Beginning .at the point of intersection of the East line of Block "C", as shown on a "Ma of a part of Tustin City", recorded in Book �p page 219, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, with the South line of the "C-1 Local Commercial Zone" as established by Ordinance No. 71. Thence South 100 feet more or less to the South- west corner of Lot 6of Block "B" of said Tustin City. Thence West along a line drawn parallel to and distant 250 feet South of the North line of said Block "C" a distance of 397 feet more or less to a point, distant 119 feet Easterly from the East line of Pacific Street as shown on said Map of Tustin City. Thence North 50 feet. Whence West 119 feet to the East line of Pacific Street. Thence North 50 feet more or less to the South line of "C-1 Local Commercial Zones' above men- tioned. Thence East along said South line of C-1 Local Commercial Zone to the point of beginning. That said area is shown on a map attached hereto marked "Districting Map Tustin - California Or- dinance No. 89 Amendment to Ordinance No. 71", and made a part hereof. That,it is the intention of the City Council that the printed map shall prevail over the written de- scription in the elVent of a conflict. Section. 2. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this Ordinance. The Council hereby declares that it would have adopted this Ordin- ance and eachsection, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, clauses, phrases or portions be declared invalid or unconstitutional. Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance, to its signature by the Mayor, to its attestation by the City Clerk and shall cause this Ordin- ance to be published for one insertion in the Tustin News, a weekly newspaper of general circulation, printed and circu- lated int he City of Tustin, Orange County, California. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Tustin at its regular meeting held on the 23rd day of November, 1953.
