AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 52 OF SAID CITY.
The City Council of the City of Tustin does ordain as followsl'
Section 1: That Subsection 12 of Section,ll of Ordinance
No. 52 of said City is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(12). Every person, firm or corporation 4istribu-
ting, or throwing upon a street, alley or public place, or
upon any private yard, lawn, driveway or sidewalk of any
residence, or upon any vacant property of the City of
Tustin, any advertising sample, hand bill, dodger, circulay
newspaper, booklet or other notice of advertisement, or
literature of any kind, $5.00 per day; provided, however, h
that this1S::-.Vbsection shall not apply to: (a) Any person,
firm or corporation distributing periodicals or legal
newspapers to paid subscribers thereto only; or, (b) To
any person 0 firm or corporation distributing advertising matter
in the interests of any church, religious or educational st
soci'q; or, (c) To any person, firm or corporation main-
taining a regular place of business within the City of Tustin,`
and advertising his or its own line of goods, and paying a
regular license under anot'Uer Section of this Ordinance."
Section 2; That Subsection 39 of S ection 11 of Ordinance
No. 52 of said City is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(39). For every person, firm or corporation engaged
in the business of selling or delivering milk at retail
within the City of Tustin from a wagon or other vechicle,
$12.00 per year for each such wagon or vehicle."
Section 3: That Subsection 40 of Section 11 of Ordinance
No. 52 of said City is hereby amended to read as follows:
11(40). For every person engaged in the business
of selling or delivering ice ttithin the City of Tustin,
$12.00 per year."
Section 4: That, Subsection 59 of Section 11 of Ordinace
No .52 of said City is hereby amended to read as follows:
11(59) a. For every person, firm or corporation
conducting, managing or carrying on the business of job
printing or soliciting orders therefor, or'opetating a
job printing establishment, $18.00 per year;
b. For every person, firm or corporation w
who prints or publishes a newspaper within the City of
Tustin, or who distributes or circulates a newspaper to
paid subscribers only, within the City of Tustin, other
than through the mails, or who solicits subscribers there-
in for any newspaper, $12.00 per year."
Section 5: That Subsection 70 of Section 11 of Ordinance
No 52 of said City is hereby amended to read a s follows:
"(0). For every person operating or conducting
a baTbar shop, $12.00 per year."
Section 6: That Subsection 71 of Section 11 of Ordinance
No 52 of said City is hereby amended to read as follows:
11(71). For every person, firm or corporation
carrying on the business of cobbler or shoe shop, $12.00
per year."
Section 7: That Subsect ion 80 of Section 11 of Ordinate
No 52 of said City is hereby amended to read a s follows:
"(80). For every person, firm or corporation
carrying on or engaged in the business of architect, law-
yer, auditor, public accountant, chiropravtor, civil,
electrical, chemical or mechanical engineer; dentist,
optician, osteopath, p#ysician or surgeon, $12'300 per year."
Section 8: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this Ordinate and shall cause the same to be published once in the
Tustin News, a weekly newspaper of general circulation printed,
published and circulated in the City of Tustin, and said Ordinance
shall take effect thirty (30) days from the date of its final
passage and adoption.

at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of June, 1944.

The above and foregoing Ordinance was regularly in-
troduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Tustin held on the 5th day of June, 1944, and was suly passed
and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
19th day of June, 1944, by the following vote:
