AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN FIXING AND DETERMINING THE NUNBER OF CENTS ON EACH ONE HUNDERED (100.00) DOLLARS OF THE ASSESSED VALUATION OF TETE TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF TUSTIN TO BE LEVIED AND COLLECTED AS A REVENUE TO PAY THE GENERAL RUNNING EXPENSES OF SAID CITY, AND THE BONDED AND OTHER INDEBTEDNESS OF SAID CITY DURING THE FISCAL YEAR 1942.-1943 The City Council of the City of Tustin do ordain as follows: Section 1; It is hereby determined that the sum of One Hundered and Ten ($l.lo) Cents upon each one Huadered ($100.00) Dollars of the assessed valuation of all the taxable property within the City of Tustin is required for the purpose of providing revenue to meet the general expense of the s4id City for the fiscal year 1942-194j, and to pay the bonded and other indebted— Mess of said City, and the proper officers are hereby directed to levy and collect the sum of One Hundered Ten ($1.10.) Cents �-� on each One Hundred (89.00.00) Dollars of the assessed valuation of all the taxable property within said City as assessed by the Assessor of the City of Tustin for the fiscal year 1942-1943. Section 2; `That tb:e revenue raised through the oolleo— tion of taxes as aforesaid shall be, and is hereby allocated as follows: The sum of One ($1.00) Dollar thereof to the General fund; The sum of Ten (10¢) cents thereof to the Municipal Improvement Bonds of 1930# Bonded Indebtedness Fund. Section 3: This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety and shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and adoption as required by law. 'The following is a specific statement showing the urgency of thi ordinance: The tax rate for the fiscal year 1942-1943 upon tax— able property within the City of Tustin must be fixed fortTA*nth in order to comply with the law. section 4: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be Published once in,the 'TUSTIN NEWSI, a weekly newspaper printed and published in the City of Tustin, County of Orange, STate of California, and immediately after its passage and adop- tion said ordinance shall be in full.?orce and effect.
