HomeMy WebLinkAboutA ST S 150 & 160 11/07/1988NVY *-Fty Ci of Tustin Community Development Department November 7, 1988 Mr. Ritch Bonkowski 160 South A Street Tustin, CA 92680 SUBJECT: CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS FOR 150 & 160 SOUTH A STREET Dear Mr. Bonkow ski: In accordance with Ordinance No. 1001 which was adopted June 20, 1988 by the Tustin City Council, the Community Development Director has the authority to approve, approve with conditions or deny Certification of Appropriateness for improvements requiring a City building permit for property located with a Cultural Resource District. The following findings are required before the issuance of a Certificate of Appropriateness: a. The proposed work conforms to the Municipal Code and design standards which may be established from time to time by the Cultural Resources Committee. b. The proposed work does not adversely affect the character of the District or Designated Cultural Resources within the District. C. The proposed work is harmonious with existing surroundings. The extent of harmony shall be evaluated in terms of appropriateness of materials, scale, size, height, placement and use of a new building or structure in relationship to existing buildings and structures and the surrounding setting. The Community Development Director has reviewed the proposed wall addition on the property line between 150 and 160 South A Street, has determined that the proposed improvement is in conformance with the above requirements, and therefore approves a Certificate of Appropriateness with the following conditions: 1. Materials shall conform to materials and construction specified on Attachments 1 through 3. 2. Prior to issuance of any building permits for the project, payment shall be made of all applicable building plan check and permit fees.
