"All STREET (714) 573-3131 (714) 573 3132 RE ROOFING OF A RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE AND GARAGE Housing (714)573-3117 In accordance with Ordinance No. 1001 which was adopted Code Enforcement June 20, 1988 by the Tustin City Council, the Community (714) 573-3134 Development Director has the authority to approve, approve with conditions or deny Certification of Business License Appropriateness for improvements requiring a City (714)573-3144 building permit for property located within a Cultural Inspection Requests Resource District. (714) 573-3141 The following findings are required before a Certificate Graffiti Hot Line (714) 573 3111 of Appropriateness is issued: FAX Machine a. The proposed work conforms to the Municipal Code (714) 573-3113 and design standards which may be established from time to time by the Cultural Resources Committee. b. The proposed work does not adversely affect the characterof the District or Designated Cultural Resources within the District. C. The proposed work is harmonious with existing surroundings. The extent of harmony shall be evaluated in. terms of appropriateness of materials, scale, size, height, placement and use of a new building or structure in relationship to existing buildings and structures and the surrounding setting. "A" Street Re -Roofing of a Residential Structure December 6, 1993 Page 2 The Community Development Department has reviewed the proposed re- roofing plans for a residential structure and garage,. and has determined that the proposal is in conformance with the above requirements. The proposed roofing material is appropriate for the subject buildings. The proposed work is hereby approved, subject to the following conditions: I. Prior to the start of any roofing work, the applicant shall obtain a building permit and pay all applicable plan check and permit fees. 2. Any replacement or repair of an existing feature of the roof (i.e. facia, gutters, downspout, roof vents, chimneys) shall match the existing materials, finish and colors of the existing structure.
