Certificate of Appropriateness 250 South Prospect Street Fence Construction January 25, 1994 Page 2 The Community Development Department has reviewed the proposed fence construction plans for the Farmers Market site at 250 South Prospect Street. The proposed wrought iron fence would be installed south of the northerly property line of the vacant lot adjacent to the residence at 240 South Prospect Street, and would be six -feet in height. The vertical members of the fence would be 3/4 -inch square pickets, and would be spaced 4 -inches apart. The color of the fence would be black. The proposed work is hereby approved, subject to the following conditions: 1. The applicant shall obtain all required building permits and pay all applicable plan check and permit fees to the Building Division, including a penalty fees for the construction of the subject fence without building permits, as established by the Uniform Administration Code. 2. All construction shall be completed in conformance with the approved plans, stamped and dated January 25, 1994, by the Community Development Department. All methods of construction, materials, finishes and colors shall comply with the plans as approved by the Community Development Department. 3. A row of Italian Cypress trees shall be provided south of the proposed fence along this entire frontage to screen the adjacent residential property to the north. The proposed Italian Cypress shall be planted approximately 2 -feet from the subject fence, at a maximum of 36 -inches on center, and shall be a minimum of 5 -gallon each in size. ..iristine A.
