REAL (DESIGN REVIEW 95-011) Code Enforcement (714)573-3134 Dear Mr. Thacker: Business License (714)573-3144 In accordance with Ordinance No. 1001 which was adopted June 20, 1988 by the Tustin City Council, the Community Inspection Requests Development Director has the authority to approve, (714) 573-3141 approve with conditions or deny Certification of Graffiti Hot Line Appropriateness for improvements requiring a City (714) 573-3111 building permit for property located within a Cultural FAX Machine Resource District. (714) 573-3113 The following findings are required before a Certificate of Appropriateness is issued: a. The proposed work conforms to the Municipal Code and design standards which may be established from time to time by the Cultural Resources Committee. b. The proposed work does not adversely affect the character of the District or Designated Cultural Resources within the District. C. The proposed work is harmonious with existing surroundings. The extent of harmony shall be evaluated in terms-ofappropriateness of materials, scale, size, height, placement and use of a new building or structure in relationship to existing buildings and structures and the surrounding setting. The Community Development Department and the Planning Commission have reviewed the proposal to make parking and landscaping modifications and to remodel the exterior of the existing non- contributing commercial building located at 300 El Camino Real (Design Review 95-011) and have determined that the proposed work is in conformance with the above requirements. The proposed work is hereby approved, subject to all conditions contained in Resolution No. 3352 (Attached).
