(714) 573-3141 The following findings are required before a Certificate Graffiti Hot Line (714) 573-3111 of Appropriateness is issued: FAX Machine a. The proposed work conforms to the Municipal Code (714) 573-3113 and design standards which may be established from time to time by the Cultural Resources Committee. b. The proposed work does not adversely affect the character of the District or Designated Cultural Resources within the District. C. The proposed work is harmonious with existing surroundings. The extent of harmony shall be evaluated in terms of appropriateness of materials, scale, size, height, placement and use of a new building or structure in relationship to existing buildings and structures and the surrounding setting. ---- V • Certificate of Appropriateness 550 South "Pacific" Street July 24, 1995 Page 2 jo The Community Development Director has reviewed the re -roofing proposal for the roof of the subject residential garage and has determined that the proposal is in conformance with the above requirements. The proposed white composition shingle roofing material is similar in appearance to the existing material and is appropriate for the subject garage building. The proposed work is hereby approved, subject to the following conditions: 1. Prior to the start of any roofing work, the applicant shall obtain a building permit and pay all applicable plan check and permit fees.. 2. Any replacement or repair of ari existing feature of the roof (ie. facia, gutters, downspout, roof vents, chimneys) shall match the existing materials, finish and colors of the existing structure.
