THIRD STREET REROOF OF A NON -RATED RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE In accordance with Ordinance No. 1001 which was adopted June 20, 1988, by the Tustin City Council, the Community Development Director has the authority to approve, approve with conditions, or deny Certificates of Appropriateness for improvements requiring a City building permit for property located within a Cultural Resource District. The proposed project includes the removal of an existing wood shakes roofing to be replaced with a new 30 -year composition shingle roofing (Color: Gray). The structure is a non -rated style structure per the Tustin Historical Resources Survey. The Community Development Department finds and determines as follows: A. The proposed work conforms to the Municipal Code and any applicable design standards in that in accordance with TCC flection 8103 (m) the liroposed roof is a class A covering as semb1T B. The proposed work does not adversely affect the character of the District or Designated Cultural Resources within the District in that theproll used roof replaces a dila»idated roof with don shinglLnriate to the existin ale o6hehouse. The proposed work is harmonious with existing surroundings in that the nrroonosed roof is consistent with the s ale of the existing roof and aan�priate for the style of the hous The proposed work is hereby approved, subject to the following conditions: 1. Prior to the start of any work, the applicant shall obtain a building permit and pay all applicable plan check and permit fees. 2.
