HomeMy WebLinkAboutPACIFIC ST S 545 09/14/2004C: SEPTEMBER 14, 2004 CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS 545 SOUTH PACIFIC STREET CONSTRUCTION OF A MASONRY WALL ON A NON -RATED PROPERTY In accordance with Ordinance No. 1001 which was adopted June 20, 1988, by the Tustin City Council, the Community Development Director has the authority to approve, approve with conditions, or deny Certificates of Appropriateness for improvements requiring a City building permit for property located within a Cultural Resource District. The proposed project includes the installation of a six foot six inch (616") tan colored block wall along the east rear boundary line of the property. The structure is not in the Tustin Historical Resource Survey. The Community Development Department finds and determines as follows: A. In accordance with TCC Section 8101 (301.2.1) the six foot six inch high block wall requires a building permit. B. The proposed work does not adversely affect the character of the District or Designated Cultural Resources within the District in that the proposed tan block wall is appropriate with the style and architecture of the house and the existing six foot high tan block wall located along the north and south property lines. The proposed work is hereby approved, subject to the following conditions: Prior to the start of any work, the applicant shall obtain a building permit, and pay all applicable permit fees. 2.
